Hello!

A woman standing next to a tree in a green outdoor setting, smiling and holding a plaid blanket.

I’m Nora, the creator of Nestled Goods. I've been a crafter for as long as I can remember. My mother gifted me quilts at every major milestone—preschool, high school, and college graduations. We even collaborated on some of them, using tie-dye and fabric paint. Those quilts taught me that handmade things carry stories, love, and comfort in ways that store-bought items simply cannot.

For years, I tried my hand at garment sewing, but it never quite clicked. Then came a wedding in the family, and I wanted to make something special they could treasure for years to come. I ended up making a pair of quilted pillows, and I discovered I loved the process! Cutting small pieces, aligning the squares, and the meditative rhythm of pressing seams— it all felt exactly right.

Now, as a mother to a growing family, I'm passionate about creating home goods that support the kind of life I want to live and the world I want to leave for my children. I believe over-consumption makes both people and planet unhealthy, but I also know how hard it can be to break free from society's patterns of buying and discarding.

That's why I create pieces designed to last generations, not seasons. In our fast-paced world, slow living is radical. So too is gathering around a dinner table without screens, choosing quality over convenience, and fully indulging in rest. My hope is that these pieces support the beautiful moments of calm, connection, and nourishment in your life.

Every piece is crafted with care in Maryland, using natural materials and traditional techniques. When you choose Nestled Goods, you're not just buying home goods—you're investing in a slower, more intentional way of living.

Every Nestled Goods piece is crafted with premium materials and traditional techniques designed to last for generations. With proper care, your handmade items will only grow more beautiful with time.

Care Instructions

A brown and beige patterned throw pillow rests on a chair. A dark green mid-century modern armchair with wooden legs, positioned on a wooden floor, next to a window with green leafy plants outside.
  • Machine Washable & Dryable All items are constructed to withstand regular machine washing and drying. However, like all quality textiles, gentler care will extend their life significantly.

    For Longest Life:

    • Wash less frequently - spot clean when possible

    • Air dry when you can - heat from dryers gradually breaks down fibers

    • Use gentle cycles - cold water wash, low heat dry

    • Wash with like colors - especially for the first few washes

  • Cotton-Linen Blends:

    • May wrinkle more than pure cotton (this is normal!)

    • Iron on medium heat while slightly damp for best results

    • Actually improve with washing - becoming softer and more relaxed

    Quilting Cotton:

    • Very durable and easy to care for

    • Colors may fade slightly over many washes (part of the vintage charm)

    • Iron on cotton setting as needed

    Reclaimed Fabrics:

    • These pieces feature rescued and thrifted textiles with unknown fiber content.

    • Spot treat or wash only when needed in a delicates bag - cold water, gentle cycle, air dry only

    • Expect some character changes - slight fading or texture shifts add to the unique charm.

    • Keep away from direct heat sources during use

  • Each piece is individually crafted, which means slight variations in stitching, fabric placement, or dimensions are not flaws - they're signatures of the handmaking process. These small differences make your item truly one-of-a-kind.

If you notice anything that seems concerning - loose threads, unusual wear, or construction issues - please don't hesitate to reach out! I stand behind my work and am happy to help with any questions or concerns.
